Miscellaneous

I got a letter from Peter Lucas saying I was the beneficiary of an unclaimed settlement for the amount of $100,000."Be advised, keep your claim completely condidential until it has been completely processfd and your settlement has been delivered to you. Find enclosed a check cashable ony by you. Be advised that the enclosed check ($2275.45) is valid only by calling our offices first. If you attempt to cash this check before speaking to any of our agents the check will be void and all stop payments will be in affect this is only a security procedure to protect our customers identity." He then told me to deposit the check and it will take 24 hours to clear. The next day he told me to wire the money to a Shanon Frits in Lima, Peru, who will take care of the taxes. The next day I went to the store to find out my account was -$2171.82. I am a 55 yr old unemployed native american who stays home and does crafts to make money because I am taking care of my elderly mother who has dementia.
Please anyone receiving this kind of letter DON'T BELIEVE HIM.
