I received a call in december (can't recall exact date) about receiving a diamond watch if i signed up for 5 years worth of magazines. I stupidly agreed and gave my information because it was a good deal. They gave me confirmation of all my information which was correct. From that day of origionally signing up for the service, I never received contact from them (no printed contract, no phone calls like they said they made) until today, March 1st when I received a billing statement stating that I owed them $115.00 I called the call center and loged a complaint stating that I was not going to pay because of lack of service and lack of communication when the first and/or second error occured in billing. Once i said i wanted to cancel the service, they told me the cancellation had passed and that I was no longer able to cancel. I then demanded to speak with a supervisor, and then was told there was none in the office and told to call back later. My credit card was changed due to the fact it was comprimised and also told a phone number would show up on my statement next to the charge in case any change in service was needed (which there was not). I would like this account closed because it is not worth my time or money to deal with with a 1 year old and 2 jobs to work around. The need for their service is not worthwhile.
