Miscellaneous

A pop-up appeared on my computer stating I had several viruses. The company was called Win 7 Security Thinking it was an legimate company, I purchased it. Once I gave my information, including my credit card number, Win 7 provided me with an order number and license code. However, when I ran the program, no viruses were found. Several days later, I ran the program again, to no avail. I googled Win 7 and found that many others had the same complaint including difficulty removing from their computers. I called the number provided by the website, 877-432-2656, and I got no response. I called my credit card company.
