Hired by Wolfgang Research/WRProfessionals to do Courthouse Research. You go to various courthouses and collect various records. You are an independent contractor -1099. The pay is extremely low, but I was willing to accept this, as I thought more assignments would be given to me after they understood I was willing to go beyond the extra mile. They provide you with a quota and counties to research. Problem was, two counties I was given were low population counties (someone at Wolfgang/WRProfessionals did not do their homework) when I conveyed to Wolfgang/WRProfessionals that there was not 50 reports only 4 that met dates given me, I received nasty/unprofessional emails. I went back again to the courthouses and verified - once again that I was correct. I even enlisted the Clerks and both verified I was correct. Once again I conveyed this to Wolfgang/WRProfessionals. I was told this was unbelievable. I then sent them a population count on both counties, and asked them I was was not believed to call the Courthouses (which they say they do from time to time) and speak with the Clerks. I proposed another county to investigate while keeping the other 2 counties, but requested instead of a 14 day visit to a 30 day visit or a different date range - so I could meet their quota. I was fired. I requested my pay from the other reports I had sent them before. I am now told (before this I did provide them with other records from other counties) by Jennifer Hood (dont know if this is her real name) that they dont show I provided them with any reports. I have filed a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). I have tried to look up this company's address to no avail - everything was done via email and phone. I also (stupid me should have done before - but it seemed so legit) did a search on them and of course there are other reports on them as scamming people. Do not believe Wolfgang Research/WRProfessionals - they do not pay you.
