I was trying to renew my Norton Security but it kept saying my 3 diget #on the back of my card didn't match the #'s on my card, which was not correct. I went to Norton support by a phone# and some how I was directed to www.pccarehelp.com then to www.ammyy.com. I was talking to a man (not American) and he went through so much telling me what a bad shape my PC was in (and it is) He finally told me he was talking to me from India! He promised me a clean computer, security, firewall, antivirus and 3yr of Norton. He said the whole process would cost $599.95! I said no then he said $399.95. I told him if he could do all he promissed that I would pay $199.95 and the other $200 on 03/02. This complete process took 4hrs! The last call I received he (Chan) said he could not complete the process my pc is to slow and he couldn't give me Norton, so I didn't have to pay the $200. AS of the next morning my computer is so slow and tuneup 360 said detected serious problems on my pc and said my pc registry health was CRITICAL! Right now I have 6,228 critical errors. They did nothing for me and I paid $199.95. There phone# came in number unknown. Is there any way I can recover my money? Thank you, Debi Day
