I replied to the free offer, and gave my card details for post and packaging, on the 4th Jan.

My free sample was shipped on the 18th Jan.

On the 1st of Feb £79.99 was taken on a card payment.

I have only just found this on my statement that I opened late last night.

I have just spent 40 mins on the phone with my bank.

I understand that this is a widespread fraud, my bank tried to tell me I had agreed to a recuring transaction. I after some long debate, telling them that this would be impossible because the first transaction was only for P&P in the amount of £5.95.

I was first told I could not stop these payments.

I have had to report my CARD as stolen, to stop this fraud.

I have reported it as a fraud, as I have never authorised any payment for £79.99.

The Banks appear to be aware of this scam, and have told me that the monies are going to Cyprus.

One would think that the Banks should at once protect their customers and stop all payments to the account in Cyprus whilst investagations are under taken.
