Recurring withdrawal from checking account from company I had never heard of before

In August I noticed a recurring transfer of $12.95 from my checking account for "Leisure Plus" Plano, Texas. Since I had no idea what this company was (or is) and had never heard of it before, I immediately called the 800-526-1401 listed on my bank statement. First the recording said I had to put in my membership? Number. I pressed 0, and was told that was invalid. After pressing "0" numerous times, I was switched to a representative, who then asked me for my membership number! To add insult to injury, they could find nothing with my name showing I was a so called member. But they had enough information to withdraw $12.95 per month from my ckg account.

I told this representative I didn't know what company this was and I had never heard of it. They asked if I had someone else use my number. I was irritated by then and said I had never heard of this company. I told them I wasn't going to say anything, about prior withdrawals, because I was remiss in not seeing it before, but adamantly told them on the phone and in writing I wanted it cancelled as of right then. This was August. The withdrawals kept occurring and phone calls were numerous.

The most standard comment was "it was cancelled as of August". THEN WHY IS THE $12.95 STILL COMING OUT OF MY ACCOUNT? I went to Wells Fargo, and complained and the only suggestion they could give was change my debit card number and they could no longer take the money out of my checking account. Guess what, it's still coming out. I have been advised to file a fraudulent claim against Leisure Plus and also tell Wells Fargo about them still letting this company hold the money out of my checking account. So Wells Fargo isn't doing their job either.

I still have no idea who Leisure Plus is. I know when I called them this morning, the recording said "due to a special company event, our offices are closed today". Who are they, what are they and I'm glad they are enjoying their "special event" with 'OUR MONEY"
