Hotmail Account Hacked and Contacts Sent Stranded Abroad Scam

Miscellaneous

Someone hacked into my Hotmail account sending all my contacts an email allegedly from myself stating I was stranded in Spain and needed money. They even went as far as directing people to call a phone number very similar to mine and leave a message on it.
