Was told we were approved for loan of $8000.00 but because credit score was not as high as they wanted they needed the first 4 months payments upfront to secure the loan. Was instructed to go to local Walmart and purchase a Greendot moneypak and put 1008.00 on it and then call them with the authorization number which we did. After the fact we realized we had been scammed. We did speak to a man from Newbrook Saturday am and was told that they needed an additional $1000.00 for insurance on the loan. I told him that we were not paying anything else that we realized that we had been scammed and that we are turning everything over to the FBI. He continued to tell us that the loan was legit and we just needed to pay the additional money, that after that the loan would be deposited into our account. The paper work they faxed us all seemed legit. We have since closed our bank account and have been in contact with Greendot. They are doing an investigation.
