Miscellaneous

I applied to a job listing on CraigsList and recieved a 'job offer' from a Terry Williams for a warehouse worker job. I researched the company, but found nothing about it. I knew something was wrong but went with it anyways, thinking that it still could be a real thing. There were two emails for employee verification and on the third email the person said I was hired. Upon reading this email they had notified me that they had already sent a cashiers check to my house as my 'first assignment', to carry out in the payment of $2,955, (I was to keep $300 [which I still have most of the $300] as part of my payment and send the rest) to send off to a raw materials company to be sent to their warehouse. I received the check in the mail two days later, cashed it out (not knowing that the check was a fake at the time) and sent the money through Western Union. On Friday I received another email saying that another check was being sent to my house to send out again. I then called the bank that the fraudulent check was issued from (Wescom) and they told me that it was a fraudulent check. I then called my bank (Southland Credit Union) and told them that the check I cashed was a fake, and I am now waiting to hear back from them. I do have the second check that was sent to me, and the package from the first check that was sent. Both checks were sent by the USPS and both packages are from different people.
