Miscellaneous

Not certain of the date. But close. For three years of a business domain and a FREE personal website. Requests for a form submission to create my website results in NO CONNECTION to brainhost. Was told I could not use Explorer and needed to use Google Chrome or Firefox. I have resisted most everything google except Picasa which is great. Reluctantly I created a chrome account and browser with the same non connecting results. The response from brainhost was that I needed to use firefox, which I believe is just stalling tactic for something that will never work. Thinking I must have some computer problem blocking my access, I did extensive troubleshooting, reconfigurations, restore operations over the course of 3 days to no avail. (As an IBM retiree of 28 years that builds my own PC's, I like to think I am capable enough to fix whatever problems I might have.) Using google results in the same problems I had before and I am unable to respond to their requests for form submission to build my website. AFTER I requested a refund, they built my website anyway and I can link to that but unable to contact them under ANY brainhost link. I still want my refund and the online business website should find another service to recommend for hosting. They cost $99 after I was closing their website with a starting price of $179, they made me a $99 offer instead of closing their link. I'm thinking the two sites may be linked just to scam people and I certainly feel like I have been.
