Young man, Michael, came to the door selling magazine subscriptions for a local baseball team (OSU came into the conversation as well) and for each subscription one will go to troops in Iraq. My husband, retired military, fell for it, hook line & sinker: (after being let into our house (as my husband went to get checks...) he asked many questions about our dogs, the neighborhood, neighbors, AND our cars! In fact, with every two purchases of magazines $118 you get a free car wash (as he is staring at my brand new Lexus) Told us he'd be back Friday at 10:30 and he'd take it to the full service car wash. We called the police, gave detailed description of "Michael" and earned all our neighbors. Bottom line... No solicitors EVER again!!
