Miscellaneous

A message popped up from my current anti-virus software telling me I had 17 infections within my computer. I clicked on the message, thinking this it was genuine. It told me i needed to upgrade my software, so I entered my information. The company above charged 79.95 for an anti-virus program. I never received the protection. It also infected my computer, acting like a fast virus. The only way I could get rid of the program was to restore the computer from the previous day. I am reporting this to my credit card company also.
