This is a rip-off! Don't use these people

I too, was lured into this place by the advertisement regarding the loan. I was told by my preparer that I was only approved for $50.00. When I questioned her about the repayment of the $50. She told me that there wasn't any because basically it was free money, an incentive to have my taxes filed with them. Ultimately, she filed my taxes on January 17, without my knowledge or authorization. I do remeber being called by Instant Tax to schedule an appointment but I informed them that I hadn't recieved my W2s yet! Long story short, my taxes were filed. They are wrong because: 1. The return is for only half of what I made last year. 2. She filed in the state of North Carolina, I didn't even work in NC last year. 3. One of my exemptions is inaccurate. 4. The fee for these errors cost me over $700. That doesn't include what it's going to cost to get this mess corrected. To add insult to the incompetence was the rudeness of the manager. But my goal is to expose this rip off and hopefully put them out of business.
