We adopted a dog from the help save one organization. They have a website that looks very professional and Marissa, although only speaks through email, seems very professional. They give you 24 hours to pay for the dog or they keep your initial application fee so people hurry up and pay it, but then when you want your dog. Yeah. It took us about three months to get our dog.
In the bio of our dog it states that she will be fixed before we get her, comes with a chip, comes with all paper ork on vaccination and rabies, and transportation is also included in the fee. Our dog was not fixed, Marissa promised over and over that she would call the vet to pay and she never did which costed us fees, the vet said she does not have a chip in her, she did not come with any papers, Marissa promised to send us paperwork over and over and never did, and we had to drive almost five hours to pick the dog up.
I wish we researched this organization more because then I would have seen all the reviews before we paid. There is not one good review that I have seen and everyone writing has got the same problems. I will never adopt from this organization again and I will be make sure I spread the word. I am writing to the SPCA and other contacts I got from an organization that said if I contacted them, they would end this organization. I also suggest people do a criminal search on these people before adopting from their organization. You will be surprised at what you find!
