DISH sales confirmed that their VoD service works as good as Cox cable Video on demand. When service was turned on on Jan 8th, I realized that their VoD is downloaded over Internet and for HBO HD shows it can take 1.5 to 2 hours for this download. I called them to complain that they misrepresented the facts and I have right to rescind my contract. They sent a technician today, Jan 10th to confirm, the technician did do that and they still threatened me with $450 of termination fee and asked me to send back the equipment at my expense. I reminded them that I did not authorize them to use my credit card, They did cancel the service but no relief from the termination fee.
