Bait and Switch

Our basement flooded the day before Thanksgiving last year 2011. We had Servpro of Birdsboro, PA come out to fix the damage. I was quoted $2,000.00 to $3,000 for the work after they checked what my insurance would cover. They cleaned the basement, removing the rug and padding and cutting out the dry wall. Basically they did a good job with that other than one of the employees smoking in my bathroom!

The problem came when I received the bill...$6,000.00. I called the complain and the owner told me it was do to the amount of time I had the fans in the basement drying my cement. He told me that he would come out to the house and give me an estimate on fixing the basement. He told me he would try and make it up to me y giving me a good price on the repairs... He came out that night and I haven't heard from him since. He also told me his employee should not have quoted me any prices. I received a check from the insurance company and after paying the crooks at Servpro I don't have enough to repair the basement... Do not use servpro!!!
