Miscellaneous

I wanted to sell my Tag Aquaracer watch, and found this company online. I spoke with Matt Mason, who was eager to see my watch, and couldn't have been nicer about explaining the company's process. I sent my watch to Atlanta, GA as requested, and promptly received an appraisal. Within a very short time, I received an offer for $700.00, which I accepted. Two weeks later, after hearing no response or confirmation, I made several calls to Watchbrokers.com. Finally, I was able to speak with Matt Mason, and after I explained my situation, he responded, "let me check that out"."No, that didn't go through." " (Someone) should have gotten a hold of you about that.".

Another two weeks go by, and I decide to have them return my watch, and I sent an email stating my request along with my acknowledgement of the $33.00 processing fee. Literally two days later, I receive another offer for $600.00. I accepted it. I received an email confirming my acceptance. Seven days come and go. I finally get in touch with Tisha Cox, who assures me that everything is fine, "there's only three of us working here, we sell 150 watches per week, we're behind on things." Also, the official email from WB said that it would take 'up to seven days' for them to procure payment.' Tisha then stated "Let me see that email, it's actually a fourteen day period, and the customer has another fifteen days to inspect it to make sure it 'is what it is'. She then congratulated me for my watch being sold. "I answer all of my emails, I return all of my voice mails." "My extension is 7077."

Two more weeks go by, and nothing. I leave three more voice mails and emails, requesting an update on my payment for $600.00. As of Jan. 9th, I have yet to hear anything back. I wish I had researched them more thoroughly, as this is a poorly run business at best, if not a scam.
