Illegal Credit Check - Cable and Internet

Don't trust Comcast or even try to do business with them. I was moving to a new house and wanted to get quotes for cable Tv and internet. I ended up going to ATT uverse which is much better. To my surprise though I got an alert that Comcast ran a credit check just because I put my information online to try to get a quote for my area. I did not request service, sign up or put any other information. This was confirmed by the customer service representative who said that she was sorry but there was nothing she could do.
