Faulty Part - Will Not Refund

I purchased a closure-sleeper opening (seal) for my Kenworth truck. It is a seal that fits between the cab and sleeper portions of the truck. The seal had a split in it at the seam. I attempted to return the $250.00 part and exchange it for a part that was not defective. I was told I had to ship it out to be reviewed. I had to purchase an additional seal in the 3 1/2 months that I had to wait for them to get back to me. They refused to refund my money upon reviewing the seal because "they would not stand behind any rubber products that were sold."
