Radio shack hero is zero - htc hero

Hello I purchased a hero cellular phone May I complained from day one-the guy working there just kept insisting I just needed practice using and stop down loading the apps-now jan. 16th the phone refuses to open, it lets me call out only the last numbers and blocks me from getting past this one screen, it says I have no apps to open it. This phone doesn't ring until the 6th ring on the phone calling me (we tried this with the other phone right next to me) by then it has only 2 rings till the answering machine picks up, not enough time. I really hate the fact I get maybe 6 hours on the battery, all these things add up, especially now with it locked to this screen. I would even get a more expensive phone but they refuse by the way the man that sold me the phone and his manager were fired, so that doesn't help with explaining how many times I was in there and still going there. Please help-dead phone months to go-Hero is a zero!!!
