Rude, Uncaring Staff

The week ending 12/3, Comfort Keepers scheduled me for 21 hours in a 28.5 hour time period which was a 2 day period. I advised them 1 week prior that I could not commit to those hours but was not contacted by anyone. On the day in question I was called from the office stating that if I did not work an additional 3 hours that night they would consider that my resignation! If I had worked that last shift I would have worked 24 hours in a 28.5 hour time period with no rest and many miles to drive to various senior homes. I tried to explain on the phone to the HR Specialist who, was very new at the job, but she was taking orders from Kelley who is rude, condensending, unprofessional employee who likes to talk without thinking. No one should ever have to work under these conditions. The boss is in denial about office staff.
