Never paid

I was hired this summer as a trail guide, guiding people on one and two hour horseback rides through the forest. The days were long and it was a LOT of hard work. I usually worked 12 to 14 hours a day, plus I had an eighty mile drive each way. Well, TWO times, I woke up at 5am, and drove 80 miles to work, only to discover that someone else had come to work because they needed to. Unknown to me. Other days I wasn't scheduled to work and I was called and asked where I was. So, I would jump in my truck and go like 90mph to get there. The pay was awful. Minimum wage, with NO overtime. I worked 58 hours in ONE week, and GOT no overtime, even though I was told by my boss that I would receive overtime for any hours I worked past 40 in one week. I had one week I worked for 58 hours and got a, little over $300. They took too much out of my check? Well, the last day I was supposed to work was the 20th of August, because after that I was coming back to college in Montana. I worked for four days that week, and my last day, I looked on the schedule, and I wasn't scheduled to work after that Thursday. So, I left for school the next day, as planned. I was going to stick around for an extra day, if I was needed, but after seeing that I wasn't scheduled, I took off the next day, (Friday.) Friday night comes around and my boss called and screamed at my mom because I wasn't at work. That was almost a month ago. I STILL am owed my last check. I had called my boss back, once I got here and explained the situation on her machine and requested my last check be sent to my home address. I have still not gotten it. To top all this off, my boss said I was "fired" and will not give me any recomendations for my new jobs. PLus, I could have gotten college credit for that job, (since I am majoring in equine-horse-studies.) I want (and need my last paycheck!)
