Repaired Cigarette

I purchased a pack of Misty menthol 120's from my local smoke shop as I have been doing for several years. The second cigarette out of the pack had obviously been broken approximately an inch from the filter. The cigarette was repaired with some type of black tape. It is very disturbing to me that with the price of cigarettes someone would repair a cigarette and put it in a pack to be sold. It has also occurred to me that the cigarette could have been tampered with in some way. Thank God I was intelligent enough not to smoke it. I am seriously considering changing my brand of cigarettes, I believe their quality control standards should be better than this.
