GE Service, refused to correct order information until microwave part ordered, shipped back, out of production, then cancelled oven as it is in the same wall as Microwave

When GE sold their service contract company to Assurant Solutions/Federal Warranty Service Corporation in November I renewed my service contracts with them for $1149.45 for my Jenn Aire Microwave, Convection Oven, Maytag Washer/Dryer. When I called in November prior to Thanksgiving for my microwave, they sent out accurate diagnostics for the repair. It needed a Mother Board, max cost $130.00 which they ordered, but said in December they couldn't install as service request said Washer/Dryer.

Assurant/Federal refused to change the work order until February.By then the company said they sent the part back and couldn't get again as Jenn Aire no longer produced. So Assurant/Federal said they would send me a $319.00 check for my microwave and I said it would cost more to replace and they needed to correct the contract and honor it or refund it 100%. They never sent more than the $319.00 and then canceled the convection oven because it is in the same wall as the microwave, so it can no longer be serviced. Then they just sent me the Plan Schedule Page - 2 pages with washer/dryer - so I called to make sure one was for the convection oven since they always called it a washer - dryer.

They said no, the oven was canceled, not sure why I got 2 pages with washer dryer and by the way, the washer dryer service is now carry in. These people are thieves. They take your money, do not provide the service they charged you for and then insult you by saying if appliances are in the same room they're considered one unit. It's just a way to refuse service. They just steal your money, they're no better than those Nigerian letters conning people out of money. (Unfortunately I assumed they would continue the same service GE did).

Please post a bulletin to all members to no longer purchase anything with Assurant Solutions and/or Federal Warranty Service Corporation. Those are the only two names I know. They probably have others. But you are just sending them a check and you can't count it as a donation or expense, you're just out whatever you sent them. They are licensed thieves. You can certainly share this with them - most of the torture with them was when my twin brother was dying of cancer and they just cared about making sure I was ripped off to the maximum. I did everything they asked and they refused to refund the full amount of the service contract that they had no intention of honoring. I cannot think of them as anything other than thieves who would steal from dying people. There are not printable adjectives to describe this low behavior and this disreputable company
