Won't Buy Again

This is my wonderful experience with Whirlpool “Canada.” Aug 18th I purchased a brand new Whirlpool Front loader set for around $1,800.00. The circuit board fried in the washing machine within the first 3 weeks and my laundry was stuck in the washer for a whole week! I went for 4 weeks without a washing machine while waiting for the part to come in because it was on back order, and apparently Whirlpool “Canada” is located somewhere in Tennessee? The worst part was having to lug laundry for four people to the laundry mat even though I had a brand new but broken washer at home!

Whirlpool never even offered to compensate me for either month I had to endure this. Then around Aug 7th the washer started leaking water on to my brand new laminate flooring. The seal was broken and it was also chewing up my laundry because of this. I lost a brand new king size comforter and several loads of clothing! Again I called Whirlpool “Canada” and yet again was put through the wringer over getting my barely 1 year old appliance fixed! Finally at my wits end over nothing being done, Whirlpool informed me they would send out a service person and it would be fixed immediately.By this time it was Sept 15th and I was informed by the service company that Whirlpool told them to charge me in full for labour, service and parts because it was no longer under their 1 year warranty.

How frustrating…no longer under their 1 year warranty because Whirlpool was not returning any of my calls or even trying to help me get my washer fixed! It’s been fixed but after a lot of hassle nearly resulting in a nervous breakdown on my part, so thanks for nothing Whirlpool. I just can’t wait to see what will go wrong next with this pile of crap that they call a washer! I only wish I had the money to buy another brand new set. I saved up for so long for a front loader and now I can’t even stand the sight of this Whirlpool washer and dryer! Whirlpool has the worst customer service that I have ever personally experienced! I work in retail and would treat a customer who was dissatisfied over a $40.00 pair of jeans better then I was treated by them! They have lost me as a customer for life!
