This new location is right by our home. Since this location opened there have been three different occasions that very sweet & caring persons (These persons claimed to be in management) these caring people were sharing plastic utensils, cups and a few plates with myself & my husband. The reason for this was/is because we don't have any water, we haven't had water in over 8 months (Well Broke Down) and we can't afford to fix it right now because of all the medication that I have to take and medicaid doesn't cover most of them. No pity plz, I have had 2 major back surgeries, both within a month of each other, which both operations failed. I am a 39 year young female and I also have serious spinal stenosis to the point of not walking at times during the month and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I also have many other serious physical setbacks and my wonderful, loving hubby also has health issues, he was in a wheelchair for years and now gets around enough to help me, he's my angel. We are NOT the type of persons to take advantage of a caring, good thing. About once a month someone at Sheetz made sure we had a few clean utensils and such to eat with. This location has been around now for going on four months.

So last evening a friend drove me to Sheetz to pick up a few items and while I was there I mentioned to Leah about needing a few more utensils and could I please speak with the manager on duty. Leah said that she was the manager so I told her about the happenings with other management and asked could you help us out with a few utensils and I explained what had transpired three times before. Other customers overheard what Leah was so rudely speaking at me and yes, I was embarrassed (who wants to be overheard asking for utensils from a convenient store and THEN be called a liar). Leah, stated that they had only been open a month and that the ONLY managers in the store were her and Katie and that NO other persons have been in charge of that location except for herself and Katie since it opened a month ago. I stated that it has been open going on 4 months and she made it a point to tell me the exact date and that people like me cost the store too much money and under NO circumstances was herself or anyone else going to be giving anything to me and she called next in line.

I still stood there and asked for Katie, WOW another big mistake. Katie stated that I've never gotten any such items from Sheetz and scams don't work in her store. My husband and I are NOT scammers nor liars. The last time that I did receive utensils which by the way was about 3 to 4 weeks ago, I try to clean them off after my husband and I have a meal or snack depending what it is, the person whom drove me to the store saw that YES, I DID receive a few utensils & a few coffee cups for hot cocoa. I grew up with class because my mother made sure of that, believe me, if we had money we would be more than happy to purchase our own utensils and cups, but right now, we just don't have the money. I never dreamed I wouldn't have money for plastic utensils and plastic cups.

I don't expect anything from this complaint. I just wanted customers to know how selfish and how extremely rude and callous these women are. Unfortunately I do have to go to Sheetz for items because it's RIGHT by our home, but I can assure you that once we do get back on our feet, we will not enter a Sheetz store. Greedy in control cashiers, Thanks Sheetz for making me feel that much worse about myself and our situation. We are the kind of people that would give Joe Blow a meal and a few bucks if we had it, I don't understand mean people and I DO NOT want to understand them.
