I bought a handbag at Forzieri.com in September. Two months later the metal buckle completely broke. I contacted the seller immediately via customer form on their website. It took them nearly ten days to give an initial reply and acknowledgement of the claim. I had contacted them via phone to get an email address where to send photos of the faulty bag as Forzieri provides no such information on their website.

After several further e-mail exchanges Forzieri advised that they normally handle returns only 30 days after the date of purchase and hence gave a hint that I should be pleased they talk to me at all. I had to tell them that this has no relevance to my claim as the procedure of handling claims is regulated by EU consumer directive and the time frame is 2 years.

Forzieri agrees to exchange the bag, but they charge for return shipping. As per EU directive return and exchange of a faulty product must be free. Forzieri refuses to give a refund which I demand. As the claim handling took too long I had to get another bag. After such disastrous customer care I wish to terminate any current and future business with Forzieri.com.
