Rushmore Financial Group
Received prize claim for $532500.00 with a request to send transfer fee for $26.59. Receive these announcements periodically. Usually just shred. And some people really fall for this

Miscellaneous

Received a letter and prize claim certificate that a check in the amount of $532,500.00. Also a request to send a transfer fee for $26.59. The so-called company is Rushmore Financial Group.

A total scam which I am very familiar with and get several of these types of letters during the year. Can' t believe that people really fall for this and send money. The other scams are receiving what looks like offical checks for thousands of dollars that tell you to deposit. Right!!! A couple of years ago I received a total of 6 checks all from various so-called companies saying I won and to deposit. I notified the post office and my local police department.

Unfortunately there a lots of elderly people that think they are winners and deposit the checks.

Thanks for the opportunity to inform others of the scams out there.
