Wal-Mart wrongful termination

I was terminated for actions that did not take place at work, had nothing to do with work and most importantly did not interfere with the job i was assigned to do.
I was friends with a girl that i later found out was a liar and a vindictive manipulator. Very calmly i informed her that i did not want anything more to do with her, that she was not trust-worthy, and most certaintly not the type of person i wanted to assocaite with.

This girl works in the bakery and i worked in the deli. We did not work together or in the smae department, however we did work in the same area of the store.
Time goes by and this girl continuously antagonizes me, pushes my buttons, and spreads rumors. So i told her that if she did not stop then i was going to take matters into my own hands.
(most of our conversations took place through text message)

Then one day she kept texting, e-mailing, and calling me. She harassed me for two days straight and i finally threatened her with violence.

Now keep in mind, this all happened outside of work, in another state as a matter of fact, and while neither of us were on the clock or near the workplace.
The girl took her phone into work and showed the assistant managers ONLY the texts that I SENT. She then told them she wanted me fired because she didnt want to work with me near her.

She claimed that she was scared to come to work. (she that same day sent me 2 messages saying that she was not scared and just wanted me fired).
Also i worked in the same area as this girl 2 days before i was terminated and conducted myself professionally.

So if she was not actually scared to work, if i never said or did anything to her at work, and if all the actions and messages that were sent did not take place at work... How can they fire me?

I want to sue walmart for wrongful termination.

(i still have the messages with dates and times on my phone that will match with time worked records at walmart to prove none of it took place there)
