Recieved a call at 4 pm on Thursday and after asking for verification and questioning I felt satisfied that they were from Microsoft as they said. I could tell my computer was full of problems
even though Norton said i was fine. Gullible as I am i agreed to pay £99.99p for a year's cover. They tried tomake me pay more but I refused. Having taken half an hour by this stage I watched the procedure to "clean my computer". I used my Visa debit card which I immediately cancelled the following day. After a further 45 minutes they rang back and I must admit the machine is running faster and is a joy to use. They used English names like david Mark and john. They left me with numbers to contact them and 2 connecting symbols on my desk top "to save me ringing them" Margaret Ronson
