Miscellaneous

I follwed an email link to be a mystery shopper, it then asked me to select what i was interested in, i selected a years free groceries. It then asked me to enter my mobile number and i pin that was sent to my mobile which i did. It then asked to answer some questions to win a prize at £1.50 each, which i thought was fine then a load of texts came through to my phone. There was no option to leave the quiz and then i recieved a text saying i had reached my £99 limit altho i had only recieved maybe £20 worth of txts. I rang the helpline number and got no help whatsoever. The adviser was rude and would not answer my questions. There was no warning that it would cost £99 and that wouldnt even cover the amount of questions you had to answer i was told i would have to go on the next day to complete the questions. The only way to get off hte screen was to use the red cross which then directed me to even more questions which cost £3 each to win a prize! I then shut down my internet to get off the screen! I am a single parent and followed the link quite innocently none of the texts said how to stop them and am disgusted how i was dealt with on the phone.
