Purchased a "toro rake & vac", 10/13, paid $49.99, with a rebate of $10. The Sales Clerk told me she did not have a rebate form, to get it online. Conveniently, no form - only one form for "grass seed". I wrote in my info and sent originals, as stated.
As it was the wrong form - my info was tossed - along with original papers. I returned to ACE HARDWARE and the Manager gave me a form, which I immediately sent in. Now I receive emails saying they will send $3 for "grass seed"!
How can one stop this type of fraud? The amount is small; however, I can not stand the thought of ever entering that store again, nor purchasing any product made by TORO.
