Site was recommended through a group e-mail. (my first mistake) Creators of group e-mail did not let anyone know their e-mail account was hacked and e-mail was a fraud.
Checked on status of site and could not find any negative information.
Wired money for a LED TV to Bank of China (second mistake).
Received same lies as other reports stated. Delay in receiving funds due trouble with Bank's computer operatiing system. Next a shipping code that was false (Checked with UPS).
Last, after a warning to take action was given the lie about Customs holding product was used. I was told I needed to send another 60% of original price to cover the fee so it could be shipped.
Asked for refund according to web site guarantee and have not had a response since. That was on 11/15.
Like other victim stated, is there any hope of recovering funds?
I am checking with Chase Bank to find out what can be done.
They stated there are some things that can be done but it does not guarantee the funds will be returned. At least it gets reported to protect others.
I am sorry for the others who spent more. I should have known better.
Never again.
