Interstate wire fraud, internet fraud, Western Union fraud, Craigslist abuse

After finding his ad on Craigslist for two concert tickets and contacting over the course of two days via email, on Thursday May 20, I agreed to send Bruce Bell a Western Union money transfer for $200 - the only payment form he would accept - for two concert tickets dated Saturday May 23.

Bruce Bell had sent "scanned photo confirmation" of the tickets he would be sending to me in exchange for the payment.

Western Union confirmed the payment was received by Bruce Bell who then advised he would place the tickets in the FEDEX on Thursday to arrive Friday May 22.

No tickets arrived on Friday May 22. After many contacts from me, Bruce Bell emailed back to say he would get me the tracking number from the FEDEX receipt, as soon as he could retrieve the receipt from his office where he left it.

Since Bruce Bell did not send me the tracking number, I called FEDEX and I was told no packages were scheduled for delivery to me at all.

Bruce Bell continued emailing that he "did not yet return to his office" and would not be able to "resolve the issue before Saturday" and would "refund my money" with a check in the mail to be received by me by Tuesday or Wednesday May 26 or 27.

On Tuesday May 25, Bruce Bell emailed to say he "forgot it was Memorial Day" on Monday and thus did not mail the check yet, and would put the check in the mail Tuesday but could not guarantee arrival.

I asked for overnight delivery of only a bank certified check or an immediate Western Union transfer but he did not agree.

Check has never arrived. Bruce Bell used Craigslist to perpetrate this alleged scam and further, represented himself as a trustworthy Marine which is added insult to our soldiers
