It looks like the scammer has reared his ugly head once more. Rec'd letter dated 11/14, stating that I had won 2nd prize in the second category of the USA Mega draw held on October 10. The reported amount was for $450,000. The letter also had a very real looking check for $4500 to cover the $3800 processing fee. Was advised to call claims agent Bill Johnson @ 1-877-533-3050 (Ext. 251) to start my claim processing and to activate my check. Was advised to not act on this notice until I had contacted my claims agent to avoid cases of misappropriation and mishandling of prize monies. (You've got to be kidding!) The check was drawn on the Citi Bank N. A in New Castle, DE on an account in the name of Ita Lisa Limited in Willmalton, DE. Being leary of something that seemed too good to be true, I Goggled the financial service's name and found this site. Thank you for groups like scambook for collecting data on these scammers. I hope they are caught and held responsible for their actions. A side thought — has anyone ever cashed the check, in spite of what the letter said, and what happened if they did?
