Kroge
Seeking Privacy Fence

We the Brooks family have lived here since 1961 on a dead end street. Surrounded by woods, peace and quite. We are now surrounded by Krogers property without any kind of fence, sound barrier etc. Kroger 1st tried to buy our property but didn't offer us enough to move on so we wouldn't sell. So then Kroger started cutting the trees and clearing the land on 11-25. We were exposed to all the noise of the heavy equipment, along with all the dust and smoke from their construction.

Then on 10-26 the new Kroger shopping center opened to the public. Since this date the 3 homes on our property has been exposed to all the public noise, horns, headlights and lots of trash, beer bottles, etc. Being thrown from Krogers property onto ours. Kroger also put in a public cut through road right beside 200 feet of our property with nothing separating our property to muffle the public noise, stop trash from being thrown on our property, plus making us very vulnerable to all kinds of criminal activity. All it would take is a privacy fence to give us a happy home again. I asked kroger on 9-17 to please have a privacy fence in place before opening to the public but still no fence.

Any support on this issue will be greatly appreciated. One thing I forgot to include. The cut through road that is parallel with 200 feet of our property obviously has no speed limit. All hours of the day and night loud vehicles/motorcycles etc. Floor board it and zoom by our property. Everybody in our neighborhood with pets, including us are scared to death that our pets will get killed on krogers pavement. Vehicles going that fast couldn't stop in time to prevent hitting one. Again, everyones support is greatly appreciated.
