An agent of the above firm or a fraudster called Fred Slater (TEL 03300012450, phoned me to say that as I was an old customer (which I am) who had never won any amount in excess of £1000 had been entered into a prise draw and that I hasd won 12,000 euroes. They asked me to buy £300 of UKASH vouchers. I stupidly gave them the code number. Later on they rang me agaain and said that they could not send my winnings until I sent them a further voudher for £499. Later on they rang me again asking for 5 x £100 vouchers instead of the £499.

I GOT SUSPICIOUS OF THIS AS THEY SAID THAT IT WAS FOR TAXON THE AMOUNT OF £500. I read up on UKASH vouchers on the Internet where I discovered that I shouldnot have released the code number for the first amount of £300.

They rang up again today And I told them to rerurn the £300 or send the winnings without strings. Otherwise I wouldd contact the POLICE, the FINANCIAL OMbudsman and finally report the whole soory scam on the blog. Since thern I have not heard from them.
