On 25th Aug I recieved a phone call from someone who said that their name was Nick Adams and they were calling from above company with good news. He said as i had been in contact with them before my name was entered into their draw and that i had won. The sum mentioned was £4,952. I had been spoken to before from this company and they were becoming a nuisance so my daughter e-mailed them to stop and they did. So I assumed that was what they were talking about. They asked for my bank sort code and account numbr which I stupidly gave they said this was so they could transfer money into my account. I told my other daughter about this and she gave me hell saying it was a scam. They called back and my daughter answered it telling them not to phone back. They did and again I fulishly was taken in but this time i had to go and by a UKASH VOUCHER for £346.000 which i did rhey rang again they asked for number on voucher which i gave they checked it said it was not valid and i would need to get another but not to worry as money would be refunded. All together i bought 7 UKCASH VOUCHERS totalling £2.000. Two thousand pounds is a lot of money. I did not and have not told my daughter that i have done this as i do not want her to know. Anyway last time they called, this time it was a lady called Erica she said an officer would come to my house and i had to show him my driving licencenc to show that i was who i said i was. She said this officer was called Gary Smith and the number i was to quote to him was 19852 when he came and he would be with me by 4pm last Friday of course it never happened. They told me what shop to go to, to buy these vouchers all local to me. How did they know my address and my e-mail address and my phone number. This voucher was to pay tax before money could be released. I am not a stupid person why oh why did i fall for this. The names that were used were Nick Adams and this Erica another one was Chris Adams. Altogether with my money for vouchers refunded I would receive £5,840 of course they had taken tax off of it. I did not give them any details of my bank other than sort code and acc nos. Nothing else, I called my bank and told them what i had done and they told me as long as that was all that i had given them that they could not do anything to my account other than pay money in they could not withdraw anything. I feel so foolish falling for this I am a 63year old pensioner disabled and i thought how nice to have won this money. Do i have to do anything else regards it. I do not want my family to know anything about this or there will be ruckshins in my house as i am also a widow, they would go mad if they found out that i had handed over this amount of money. I still have the 7 vouchers that i bought. Please can you give me some advise regards this, i would appreciate it very much. Thank you.
