On 8/6 i hired this agency to ship a barrel of food, clothes and hygiene items to Santiago, Dominican Republic. I was waited by Gladys Perdomo whom claim she was the wife of the owner. I was told the cargo will arrived its destination in about 3 working week days. When the 3 weeks went by I telephone the agency 716-965-2222 spoke to Gladys several times and she never was able to locate my shipment to the point she would hang up the phone on me or keep me on hold for 30 minutes. I got tired of her lies and I was able to speak to Oscar Perdomo he also claim to be one son's owner and promised to help me locate my shipment. He was also a pure lie, he would tell me that the cargo got held up by customs in Dominican Republic and as soon they release the cargo they will bring it to my wife's house. I threatened them take them to court and I contacted Yonkers Small Claim Court. And file a case against Merengue and was given a date to court on 3/12. Just recently the court wrote me telling me they could serve the documents because address was not found and the case will not continue unless they get serve. This agency must have a real scam because they have a website called Merengue Shipping 86 Mclean Ave Yonkers NY 10705. And tel number posted in the website and also the document given to me is 914-444-4444 which is fake. I gave you the real number in the beginning of the page.
