Miscellaneous

I saw an offer on Facebook under the Rachel Ray sponsored links for a trial offer of one month supply of a weight loss product called coloncleanse pro for $4.95. I ordered it with a credit card on October 18 and planned to try it and then cancel before the 14 day trial period was up. I received the trial product on Day 7, October 25. On October 28, Day 11, I sent an email to cancel my subscription. I did not hear back. On Nov. 2, I sent a second email. On November 3, I checked my credit card and saw a charge of $80.79 on my account. I called and cancelled over the phone with a person who said it was too late. I then received an email dated November 1 saying my subscription would be cancelled by my request and that there would be no future or ongoing charges. I tried for several days to call customer service and kept getting put on hold and then dropped. On November 9, I finally got a live person who said that because I did not call in time I was charged for the $80.79. I complained until she said she would refund me $40. I said that was not good enough and I needed the full amount refunded. They have yet to refund my account.
