I negotiated a deal on a 2011 Polaris Ranger over the phone with a sales agent from Wenatchee Motorsports, in Wenatchee WA. The sales person told me verbally that the Ranger he recommended was a Diesel model. I told him that I had a ranger XP already and asked if the diesel model was comparable. He told me it was better. It had more torque, power steering and it would do everyhting the XP would do all while getting better gas mileage. We agreed on a price and I wired him the money within minutes. The first day I had the new RANGER I took it hunting up in the hills. Within the first 15-20 minutes I realized that their was a significant lack of power and there was no "Power Steering". When I tried to climb a hill to get to an area we have always hunted, and my other Gas powered Ranger had gone to several times before, the diesel couldnt make it up the hill. It didnt have enough power. I had to carefully back down a hill and when doing so I rubbed along side a tree and caused some scratches on the Ranger. I called the next day and explained how displeased I was and wanted to trade this for another Gas powered Ranger with Power Steering. I agreed to pay for any and all damages that were made to the Ranger. The sales people called the owner and told me to drop the Ranger off so we could work something out and get me into something that would work or offer a refund for the difference. After 3 weeks I received a phone call stating that I needed to come pick up the Ranger and there was nothing they were willing to do. I was sold a bill of goods. Now I have to go all the way back to Wenatchee (I live in Puyallup Washington, over 3 hours away) to get the Ranger. This is not right.
