Long story, but i filled out one of those 'survey' forms for a coupon to Outback restaurants and one of the 'silver' selections was a 'trial' offer for this so=called hair restorer. I signed on to it, but discontinued the survey as I soon realized this, too, was a type of scam! But dummy me started to fill out this 'trial' offer as I thought I really didn't have much to lose for $1.31. Then I reread their 'terms and conditions' for this offer and found you had to cancel within 15 days of the order DATE (note not shpg. Date), so in reality you are lucky to try this product for 6 actual days after which you would be billed for the balance of $74, if you did not cancel within the time frame of 15 days. Well, I called and they canceled the offer, but, talked me into ordering the product, anyway, for $19.31 S&H. I thought this was reasonable, and if the product worked like they claimed, the price was worth it. When I received theproduct, yesterday, I read the instructions, carefully, and discovered this product is almost useless and not theproduct I thought it was! It is restricted to only a portion of your scalp, it takes about 4 months to show any effective results and it requires one to keep using it indefinitely because once youstop using it, the hair that was restored, is lost! So, today, I called C/S and told them to cancel my order and to send me instuctions how I might return the (unopened) product to them. C/s told me they cannot refund me the money! So, I am going to raise a complaint with my CC (Chase) and see what they can do in reversing this charge.
