We met a rep from CLC at Malaga airport in July
We were told that we would be entered into a prizedraw for a free holiday
At no time were the terms and conditions of the agreement discussed, we were NOT told about a deposit or that it would be non-refundable
On 20th Oct11 my wife answered the phone and surprise surprise we had won a holiday! However a deposit would be required, she was deceived and hoodwinked as at no time was the non-refunable policy explained
£199 duly exited her credit card account
I was told about this and informed my wife to call the company back and obtain a refund, they refused
I have called them today and again they have refused
I have researched their company and found that there have been multiple complaints about them and their sales tactics which are underhand
I have also contacted consumer advice who stated that they were in breach of section 56 of the consumer credit act 1974
All I want is a refund
