I was contacted by a company named Compass National that said I was eligible to receive grant money for the development of my business. After reviewing my needs we determined that a grant in the amount of 283,000 was appropriate. The fees for the grant were 28,000 with me paying 9,600.00 up front with the remainder paid when half the grant funding was received. A business plan was written in one day and that is all I got. (Pretty good money for one days work) After Compass National got the money, I was unable to contact them even though I was given multiple phone #s.in Feb. I was contacted by a Mark Daniels who asked for more money, I told him my agreement with Compass was that the remainder of the money was to be paid when I received at least half the grant money. He informed me that he worked for Interlan Financial and it was a separate agreement, I refused his request for additional funds.in April I was contacted and told my grant had been approved and that I would have to set up a non-profit corp. I was to put 14,800.00 in an account in my name for non profit distrubution. I did, and have not heard from no one since. I have tried to contact Interlan Financial with no success. It seems I am in debt for 9,600.00 with Compass and 14,800.00 with Interlan which are one and the same
