What oil change? - Oil change

Went to the Monro in Elizabethtown, PA where Steve manages the shop. He's a bit gruff, but I shrugged it off at first. Then I saw how he handled other customers, which was downright horrible.

Paid for an oil change. Picked up car and oil light flickered and went off. I thought nothing of it since the car is older with about 190,000 miles on it. Drove the car for two months, the light intermittently flickering, but again, old car. I just bought it from my sister who had no problems with it. I asked her about the light after a while and she said, she had never seen it. (My mistake.)

2,000 miles after the oil change the car seizes. Now mind you, this care DOES NOT burn oil and DOES NOT LEAK a drop. I took the car to the mechanic my sister recommended and... NO OIL!!! There maybe about a quart the mechanic said. He said he couldn't understand it, though, because he couldn't find any leaks and there was no sign of the car burning oil.

So I go over to Monro and talk with Steve. I tried to be discreet because accidents happen and customers were in the shop. While I'm trying to explain the situation Steve starts getting loud and defensive. After a bit of back and forth he gives me his bosses number. I call and they forward me to their insurance for a claim (Travelers Insurance). They go down to the shop and take pictures, and then tell me they are denying my claim. They say they found a leak.

I talk with the mechanic who was there and put the car up for their adjuster and he said, the bottom was try and there was no leak. He doesn't know what they're talking about.

So now I have to try to deal with the insurance company and am getting stonewalled so far. Never again, monro.
