Received a call at my home and work from a man with a very heavy accent, claiming I borrowed 849.00 from an online company. (I did no such thing.) I had to pay or my credit will get dinged, my employer will find out, and the there is a new law suit. Actually gave me a fake suit number. I looked up and called the Carlson Law firm who told me that was a scam and they are aware and having it looked into. I then had an atty from my office call this man. The man told my co-worker that he went to law school at Stanford college in London! Eventually, the man admitted he was no lawyer and apologized for bothing me. I then call him and told him I'd be reporting him and he began crying and yelling "no!" and then hung up. I will be calling the DA and police in the morning.
