Non disclosure of pertinent information

My husband and i seeked the services of Herbert smith Atty for a bankruptcy. He charged us $2300. WE had a consul with him and then was turned over to his secretary/paralegal. What time she was not on the phone with personal calls, she was explaining the bare minimal information to us. After this time it would take us 4-5 days get get a call returned when a question would arise. We would be told she was having personal home problems and was out of the office and that mr. Smith was out of the office. We would leave our name and number with no return calls, instead we would have to go to office personally. And still at times would not get to talk to anyone. The day of the hearing we were still trying to find out where to meet the atty for court. AFter court we ran into alot of trouble with bill coollectors and would referr them to atty's office and they would call us back saying they could not get ahold of the atty's office. We were asked for a list from the secretary/paralegal of companies we wanted to file on our suit, so we gave them a list only to find out that all creditors are filed wheither delequient or not. Which if we would have known this we maynot have filed, because i had established some good credit. I fell I was grossly misrepresented and was over charged for services i never recieved. I will never ever recommend this atty to anyone. IF you want a good atty that you can talkj to do not go to this atty. Because when his secretary/paralegal was giving us bad service he had all kinds of excuses for her instead of resolving the problem. So i feel he was as much as fault as her.
