I filled out an online application for a personal loan for 10,000 to cover my wedding expenses. I was contacted by julia martin (a loan agent, juliamartin@weareheretohelpu.net, 1-877-211-5275) on 8/22 who said she had contacted a lender willing to loan me the funds with the condition of providing a collateral payment. Loan documents were sent to me I signed them and payed the collateral payment directly to the lender via western union. I initially sent a payment of $543.00 to Jermaine Ricketts (the lender) who after recieving the payment requested an additional collateral payment of $543.00 which I immediately sent. After sending the second payment I was asked to send more money which I refused to do and demanded a refund. I then recieved a letter guaranting I would recieve a refund on 10/17 in the amount of $1,137.42 (to cover the collateral payments I made and loan fees). On 10/17 I did not recieve a refund, I called and emailed the company only to discover the phone number is now a non working number. I have e-mails/contracts from the company verifying all of this.
