Requested cash payment of $6164.00 as collateral payment for loan of $20,000

I contacted this company after receiving information that they can help with loan. I wanted only $10K. After paying the collateral payment of $3080.40.
They call me that the lender pulled out from loan agreement. Since the company reputation was on the line, the boss, John T. Codwell, CEO, contacted another loan company and they garanteed a new loan, but their loans only start at $20,000. They requested another $3080.40 since the amount is now double. But this is garanteed he said. After the funds did not show, I called them and was told that since funds was coming from Canada, there was a tax of $1300 applied and I need to pay that before the check is released. I spoke with a Craig Marshall and Jonathan Flemming regarding this
loan. I advised Mr. Marshall that just refund my money as I had no more funds available. He said tax amount would be reimbursed to me. I told him then you pay it and forward the loan money OR refund the collateral payments of $6160.80 ASAP. I need the money returned as I have payments to make. Mr. Marshall indicated that the soonest he could get the reimbursement done was on 6/24. Due to the urgency, I have been calling then and all I get is a recorded message that says"goodbye" and disconnect. I also faxed a written request for them to call, no response to date. This is a really sad day when there are people that would take advantage of someones hardship.
